Show your agent what you mean.
Press ⌘⇧2, circle things on your screen, and say what should change. Lasso turns it into one prompt: a numbered screenshot, with your words under each number. Paste it into Claude Code, Codex or any other agent.

The voice is synthesized. The marks, the word timings and how the words were shared out are what Lasso produced from this recording.
1Talk while you point
Your words land on what you circled.
The recording and your strokes run on one clock, and the transcription model gives a time for every word. Each mark takes what you said from about the moment you drew it until the next one. Cuts fall on sentence ends, pauses and commas, never in the middle of a phrase.
Your scribble
2Scribble, then let go
Loops become one clean ring.
People circle things over and over while they talk. When you let go, Lasso redraws the scribble as a single ring around the same area, so the mark doesn't cover what it marks. Arrows and lines stay as you drew them.
3Paste once
What your agent reads.
A numbered overview of the window, a full-resolution close-up of each mark without ink, and your words in the order you said them. Claude Code and Codex open the screenshots from their paths. For a chat window, copy the screenshot itself from the panel.

4Chinese, English, or both
Say it the way you'd say it.
Talk about a UI and the words come in two languages: padding, hover, border radius. In our test, MAI-Transcribe-2, the default model, wrote this sentence down word for word and timed every character.

Everything stays on your Mac.
Screenshots, recordings and prompts are saved in your Pictures folder, one folder per capture. Only the recording leaves your Mac, to be transcribed through OpenRouter with your own key.

You'll need an OpenRouter API key for transcription. Lasso isn't notarized yet, so the first time you open it, go to System Settings, Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway.
